     All cancer patients diagnosed at Chulabhorn Hospital will be evaluated by professional medical experts in the Tumor Board Meeting which takes place very Friday afternoon throughout the year. The members of the board include representatives from each specialty such as medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, hematology, radiology, nuclear medicine, pharmacy, nutrition, and physical therapy. Nurses from the outpatient and inpatient departments and research nurses also participate in the meeting in order to prepare an appropriate care for each patient. Tumor Board room is fully equipped with an internet access to the most recent and up-to-date international and national evidence based clinical practice guidelines (CPG). The details of each patient case will be presented in the Tumor Board meeting to decide which treatment plan offers the best outcome for the patients. In diseases where the current treatment regimens are not optimal, the patients will be offered the opportunity to participate in ongoing clinical trials. All clinical trials at Chulabhorn Hospital are approved by the Institutional Review Board of Chulabhorn Research Institute.
