     Quality of Life Centre has been developed in conjunction with the “Friendship Therapy” project under the support of the National Health Security Office (NHSO) with the goals to support and enhance the quality of life of cancer patients, family members, and their community. The “Friendship Therapy” project offers a 24-hour hot-line telephone service by volunteers who are trained to answer any questions related to cancer diagnosis and care. The centre also facilitates a hospital-to-home transition of care for cancer patients who are terminally ill and provides home based supporting services upon the needs of each patients. Out-reach activities are also conducted in the community to educate people about cancer as well as behavioral and social risks of cancer.
